Business Development Associate

Office Location: Houston, TX

Job Description

The mission of the Business Development Associate position is to provide quality lead generation support to the President and Executive team so that the sales goals and objectives for Vista 14 are achieved.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for partnering with sales team to identify new business opportunities through cold calling and contacting prospects via email.
  • Communicate value to prospective clients and schedule introductory meetings between qualified prospects and Vista 14 sales team.
  • Responsible for updating CRM software with notes related to calls, email, and meetings with prospective clients.
  • Maintain an understanding of organization’s solutions, value proposition, and competitors.
  • Develop and nurture new opportunities to hand off to outside sales group to close.
  • Aggressively and systematically move prospects through the sales process from lead nurturing to appointment setting and hand off to outside sales.
  • Ramp up quickly on services and industry knowledge.
  • Provide superior client service and responsiveness.
  • Represent the company in an exemplary manner in all client and prospect interactions.
  • Meet and exceed Inside Sales quota and assigned targets.
  • Be available for networking, conferences and events as Vista 14 interests are identified.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year business-to-business sales or client service experience with responsibility for identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • Willing and capable to dial a large volume of outbound calls.
  • High energy, positive attitude and “Make It Happen” philosophy with strong work ethic
  • Effective phone presence
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize time effectively.
  • Strong understanding of advertising, marketing, and the interactive/social space.
  • Associate degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in PC computer software, to include MS Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of employees.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record in building a strong pipeline and exceeding quota.
  • Experience with CRM/Contact Management Systems (i.e. Zoho, SF.com, Act)

Compensation

  • Salary: $42-60K Base Annual Salary (based on experience) plus Commission Structure

Brand Manager

Job Description

Got an interest in Internet marketing, a propensity for organization and structure, and a general liking of all things digital? Vista 14 is looking for Program Managers to be a part of its growing team. The Program Manager is the critical point-person for client relations from understanding their marketing needs and to what campaigns deliver the most growth and drive sales.

Program Managers go beyond overseeing the details of client campaigns. They are responsible for all communication and interaction between the client and creative and development teams. They maintain a level of professionalism and are the face of the Program team. Individuals must have a basic understanding of web analytics with the ability to take on time-sensitive tasks and Programs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Researching client markets, competitors, audience, and search potential based on industry
  • Creating strategic and comprehensive campaigns
  • Working with clients from a variety of different industries to create and manage marketing and social media campaigns
  • Working with each internal department of Signet to ensure campaigns are launched and maintained on a day to day basis
  • Managing ongoing client support issues
  • Managing ongoing up-sale and contract renewal opportunities

Minimum Job Requirements

  • A college degree or equivalent real world experience
  • Previous Program or Project Management experience (3 year minimum)
  • Pristine organization skills and time management tactics
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written
  • Proficient analyzing abilities
  • Ability to work within strict timeframes and under stress

Ideal Candidates Will Have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication (know how to talk and write “good”)
  • Able to combine great communication skills with the ability to solve unique problems (don’t just say it, do it)
  • Both group and independent problem solver (more than just the math kind)
  • Able to explain clearly and concisely our unique marketing process and/or campaign (know what we do)

  • Proficient in the use of common web browsers i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome etc. (know how to check more than just Facebook)
  • Dealing with different personalities coming from a variety of industries and backgrounds (you got to be able to deal with an array of personalities)
